Grants are available for Queens-based not-for-profit organizations that produce cultural programs. QCAF offers two project-based grants for organizations, funded, respectively,  by the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program (NYSCA DEC), and by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs Greater New York Arts Development Fund (NYC DCA GNYADF).  QCAF also offers one organizational development / support grant, funded by JPMorgan Chase.

The Online Grant application will be available mid to late July. Until then, you may download the following guidelines and narrative questions.

New York State Council on the Arts
Decentralization Program

Grants range from $1000 to $5000
Project Support
Funds for this program are for Queens nonprofit organizations producing cultural activities which directly service the citizens of Queens. Applicants applying for funding are encouraged to request funds for distinctive programming or programs that advance the organization's mission and broaden audiences. Organizations may act as a fiscal sponsor for individual artists and organizations without nonprofit status.  Organizations may submit up to 3 separate requests for funding for different projects, but the total request for all applications cannot exceed $5000.

New York City Department of Cultural Affairs
Greater New York Arts Development Fund

Grants range from $1000 to $3000
Project Support
This fund assists Queens-based nonprofit organizations that have limited access to existing funding sources, with a grant to provide public arts services to the Queens community. Projects of all disciplines will be considered, including those that represent various ethnic, social and geographic areas.

JPMorgan Chase Foundation
Regrants Program

Grants range from $2000 to $3000
Organization Stabilization Support
Grants are awarded to Queens-based, nonprofit organizations with art as their primary mission, that have been in existence for at least three (3) years. Funds may be used for general operating support, equipment purchases, website development, or other non-program activities which support organizational development and increase outreach in providing cultural services. Funds will not be awarded for sponsorship of performances.
