The Chinese Dragon is the most intriguing and auspicious of the mythological creatures that make up the twelve year cycle. To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, there will be a wonderful free music event in Queens at Crossing Art Gallery in Flushing at 3:00 pm this Sunday, January 22nd, where you can hear a live performance of the Shanghai String Quartet. You can also hear it on WQXR. While you are in Flushing, take time to sample some of great food with a cup of tea.
